Robert is currently serving as the Director of Emergency Management/911 for Saline County, Arkansas. Robert is responsible for all aspects of Saline County Emergency Management and 911 operation efforts, including preparedness, planning, recovery, and mitigation. The Emergency Management's role is to ensure any event is coordinated effectively and to maintain and restore normal operations within the county as quickly as possible.

Prior to his current position at Saline County Robert was the Director of Emergency Management for Benton County Arkansas for over 5 years. Prior to working at Benton County Robert was in law enforcement for seven years. In law enforcement, Robert worked for the Washington County Sheriff's Department, Farmington Police Department, and the Department of Public Safety at Arkansas Tech University.   Robert holds an AAS in Criminal Justice from Northwest Arkansas Community College, a BS in Emergency Management and Administration, and a MS in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, both from Arkansas Tech University.

Additionally, Robert is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Also, Robert currently serves as the Vice President on the Arkansas Emergency Management Association (AEMA) board.
