
Jeffrey Hilty
Jeffrey A. Hilty is an instructor for The University of Findlay, an academic partner of the RDPC.
Mr. Hilty is a retired assistant fire chief and training officer for the city of Findlay (Ohio) Fire Department and has been a trainer for the All Hazards Training Center (AHTC) at The University of Findlay for over 16 years.
Mr. Hilty specializes in the presentation of confined-space entry and rescue, hazardous materials emergency response, rail car incident response, and incident command system training for AHTC. He has been certified as a firefighter instructor and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) through the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
Mr. Hilty’s academic background and 28 years of firefighting and fire administration experience give him a balanced perspective on the needs of both emergency responders and those who work in the industrial setting.
