We require a minimum of 20 pre-registered students 10 days in advance of the training date to facilitate a training delivery.

There is no cost to attend or host RDPC training. All training is provided free of charge by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/FEMA through the RDPC. Local jurisdictions are only asked to provide classroom space and assist in marketing and outreach to promote the training event.

While the focus of the RDPC is to help rural first responders and communities with minimum budgets to better respond to emergencies and disasters, the RDPC can offer training at urban locations under special circumstances, such as a statewide conference, meeting, or event which draws in practitioners from small and rural areas. These deliveries are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are subjected to DHS approval.

All of our training courses can be started as soon as you’ve completed the online registration form for the course you wish to enroll.
