Who is the RDPC?

This video gives a brief overview of the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC) and shows how we have worked with our members to train more than 85,000 first responders since 2005.

The Center for Rural Development is a DHS/FEMA training provider. The joint mission of The Center and the RDPC is to provide rural and tribal communities with the knowledge, skills and abilities to enhance the safety, security and quality of life for their citizens. This is achieved through the facilitation of relevant information sharing and coordination in the development and delivery of preparedness training in support of national homeland requirements. RDPC delivers training to all 50 states and 5 U.S. territories. The Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium provides training to small, rural, and tribal communities.

In order to better align the RDPC image with our mission, RDCP has updated our branding. This new branding strengthens our association with the Department of Homeland Security as well as Emergency Responders.
